Parish Priest
I’m Jeremy Brading the Parish Priest of Kings Bromley, Hamstall Ridware, Mavesyn Ridware and Yoxall. I have been the Parish Priest here since May 2021.
I am married to Angharad and I am the father to two boys and a number of cats.
Officially I am designated by the Diocese of Lichfield, as a Rector. However as I understand this role, years ago a Rector used to oversee quite a number of curates. Today, how times have changed. Today I’m serving God in these parishes on my own – though fairness, this is common in parish ministry today.
I feel blessed to be living in these parts. I have found that most of the people I have met, I share a similar approach to life with. Namely, what you see is what you get.
I also feel privileged to minister in these parts, because I consider that I am now living amidst the capital of the world (OK back in the day). Fortunately I enjoy meeting people and especially in the pub. I like to nurse a pint or two of Bass or Pedigree. I am though, always interested to sample different cask beers. Hope to see you in church or at one of our pubs in the future ?
